Bamily goes Jazz

I’ve been racking my brain almost all weekend since fridays lesson for a way to change our ensamble and cut out the random bits and keep it funny at the same time… and i just cant do it. Every time i think of an idea i realise it knocks out a vital part of the ensamble. I think that the character with the least relevance is my character so anything that suggests cancelling my character out im definately going to be bias about. But if it makes the ensamble smoother…

But when i think about it further my charcter does have a vital part of the ensamble because the whole thing is summed up at the end and thats whats suppose to make it funny… or not. I dunno i just think we need to make everything a little clearer and more obvious and hopefully by doing that we can time it then add funny bits later. I hope it all works out because our ensamble does have the potential to be interesting and funny but even i get confused sometimes. I also need to keep reminding myself that something that is funny to the group isnt always going to be funny to the audience.

Ensambles are going really well!

In our group we’ve got Jess, Nadia, Flick, Laura and me! I think this group is a really good working group and very creative, maybe even too creative…

Well we’ve got our storyline and characters, we just need to tie it all together now. One of the hardest things we’ve found is tying in technology… we tend to get side-tracked on other aspects of the story and forget technology. Our whole ensamble is based around technology and how it was used for different ‘missions’… I’m really enjoying this ensamble and if we can keep all our wondering minds on track then we’ll progress well.

I’m so excited about ensambles!!! There all going to be sooooo good!!! I am loving the topic… TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION!! The comedy aspect is going to be the best and i can see all the ensambles being so funny… as cashy said we are a very comedic class, and maybe we do show that at inappropriate times… sorry cashy. 

I was thinking in class that maybe i need so go into my solos thinking very negitively and nervous because it seemed to work last time… unlike this time were i was so confident about my solo that i did really crap… oh well ensambles will get my hopes up… OMG 12 CLASSES LEFT TILL CREATIVE ARTS ARGHHH!!! (aka 29 days)  meh we can do it…
